Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully:1. You must provide a suitable and appropriate mountain bike, helmet, clothing and other equipment, which is safe, and of appropriate condition for riding and other activities in the area and during the weather conditions that may occur during your course / guided ride.
2. You must be over 18, or complete the parental / guardian portion of the booking form.
3. You accept that neither Get A Grip Mountain Biking or the venue (if applicable), are liable for any damage, injury, loss or otherwise incurred elements as a result of, or in connection with the principle, operation or running of a Get A Grip Mountain Biking, provision of venue facilities or course / guided ride applied for.
4. If at any time prior to or during a course / guided ride, you act in such a way as to endanger yourself or others, or have disregard for the local area, the public, the venue or instructor / guide, Get A Grip Mountain Biking and the venue reserve the right to remove you from the course / guided ride. In this case, you forfeit any refund or other financial return.
Cancellation
Cancellations may occur but will be subject to the following forfeit:Full refund less 20% of course fee if more than 14 days notice given. 50% refund if between 14 and 7 days notice given. No refund if less than 7 days notice given or no-show on the day. If you wish to cancel or reschedule a course / guided ride, please contact Get A Grip Mountain Biking as soon as possible.
Adverse Weather Conditions
Get A Grip Mountain Biking does not have any influence over weather conditions and courses / guided rides will proceed in all conditions unless it is unsafe to do so. If it becomes unsafe to run a course then either a full or partial refund or transfer of the course (or other form of reimbursement) will be made. Cancellation of a course due to adverse weather conditions may occur with very limited notice, and indeed cancellation may occur if a course has commenced but becomes unsafe to continue such as if brakes begin to deteriorate to an unsafe level or light conditions fade.Sickness
If you are sick on the day of the course please contact us as soon as possible. If the Instructor(s) is / are sick on the day of your course, we shall endeavour to re-schedule the course / guided ride to another convenient date.Public Safety
Rachel is proud to announce that her insurance covers her for public liability up to £10 million.
